Dog Clubs
Lone Star Borzoi Club
http://lonestar.borzoi.net/
The inaugural dog club site begun in 1998 and having gone through a couple
redesigns. The most current design features my initial delving into CSS
list menus and using the Dreamweaver templating feature.
Borzoi Club of America
http://www.borzoiclubofamerica.org/
This site for the AKC Parent Club for Borzoi was redesigned in early 2007.
It included a redesign for the BCOA Health Committee as well featuring
the same basic layout with a different color scheme. Now handling maintenance
duties.
BCOA Health Committee
http://www.borzoihealth.org/
Site for the sharing of health information and updates for this BCOA committee.
South Central Bloodhound Club
http://southcentralbloodhounds.org/
Re-design of their site into a cleaner, more streamlined layout. The
Rescue pages have been set up with a program so that they are editable
through a browser, which allows the rescue committee to get updates
up quickly.
Sammamish Kennel Club
http://www.sammamishkennelclub.com/
Handling monthly updates and maintenance. Also addressed accessibility
and browser issues from heavy Flash usage.
Cypress Creek Kennel Club of Texas
A very basic site for the dissemination of this all-breed dog club's information and events. The CCKC took over maintenance duties for the site, and then attempted a redesign, so I have removed the link. If you wish to see the site's original and uncorrupted design, I can provide that for you.
International Silken Windhound Society
http://www.silkenwindhounds.org/
Site for this international dog club. Features a photo gallery and an online
pedigree database which utilizes the breed's registry records. Working
on integrating a method of online record-keeping for the Registry team
as well as online litter registrations.
Houston Area Hound Association
http://www.houstonhounds.org/
Somewhat defunct site (have not received much in the way of updates) for
a Houston area Specialty Dog Club.
Galveston County Kennel Club
http://www.galvestoncountykc.org/
Another early dog club site. Somewhat regularly updated, its design has
not changed since inception.
